7-inch Widescreen Touch Panel Monitor

Proximity Sensor
The KW-AVX830 features a unique proximity sensor. When your hand approaches, the screen activates and control keys appear. When left untouched, the keys disappear so you can concentrate on the main screen.
Detachable Face Panel
Upon exiting your vehicle, you can detach the double-DIN face panel and carry it in the included case (or hide it in the vehicle) to help guard against theft.
Built-in Bluetooth Wireless Technology
Drive more safely (or legally depending on where you live) with hands-free calling. The included wired microphone offers flexible settings for clear communication. The Phone Book Access Profile (PBAP) for iPhone lets you automatically access your phone book without transfer. You can also manually transfer up to 400 numbers from compatible cell phones. Changing from hands-free to a private conversation can be done by a push of a key. You can also easily switch Bluetooth connection between 2 phones, such as for business/private use.
Old and New Media
Play back your favorite DVDs, VCDs and CDs--the monitor folds down for a slot-loading disc player. Of course, many of us now have a library of digital files, and JVC's AV series addresses this with support for WAV/MP3/WMA audio files, playback of MPEG 1/2 video, and display of JPEG images.
Enjoy Dolby Digital sound to accompany your video content, along with a three-band parametric EQ for tweaking things to your preference.
USB Audio and Video for iPod/iPhone
The USB connection for iPod/iPhone provides clear digital sound directly from your iPod or iPhone. You can also enjoy video by adding the optional KS-U30 cable.
While your device is in use, it also receives a charge, so it's ready to step out of the car when you do.
System Building
While the KW-AVX830 gives you a MOSFET 50W x 4 amplifier to begin with, it offers plenty of room to grow with three 5V preamp terminals (front, rear, subwoofer), a subwoofer control, and a high-pass filter. Set up your ideal audio system.
On the video front, this receiver features AV & Video inputs, for adding external devices like video game systems, and a video line output for setting up an external monitor for your passengers. Dual Zone operation means the kids can enjoy a movie in back while you listen to the radio up front, or other combinations to keep everyone happy.
Still after a few more entertainment options? Adding HD or Satellite Radio is as easy as connecting one of JVC's tuners to the expansion port.
Last but not least, the KW-AVX830 is ready for a Steering Wheel Remote, for integration with modern vehicles.
